Everton may well be closing on on a deal for Southampton gem Tyler Dibling.
David Moyes has called for more arrivals at Everton before they face Leeds United in the Premier League opener, and he looks to be getting his wish.
The Toffees have submitted a bid for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to join on a permanent deal from Chelsea, while having a bid rebuffed for Dibling last week.
However, the future of the latter has become clearer after the latest exit update from Southampton, and it looks like good news isn’t too far away for those on Merseyside.

Now, according to Ben Jacobs via X (4 August), the Toffees have delivered on that promise and are optimistic about their chances of bringing Dibling to Merseyside, but have seen a new £35m+ bid rejected for the winger [Alex Crook].

Dibling’s stats at Southampton (2024/25)
Dibling enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last time out for Southampton in the Premier League, but was ultimately unable to save them from the drop.
It is almost nailed on that he will be on the move this summer, and it looks as though a move to Everton is edging closer and closer, though the agreement is yet to be reached, with £40m still the pricetag set on the youngster.

Dibling would be a game-changer for Everton
It would be a very high price for someone who has played one season in the Premier League, but it would improve the starting 11 massively.
Everton lack options on the right flank, and the arrival of Dibling would remedy those concerns.
With the pricetag and second offer not too far apart, this saga could come to an end in the next few days.
