Manchester United fans had one clear-cut pick for the Man of the Match against Everton after the attacking set-up featuring Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
Ruben Amorim finally handed Bryan Mbeumo his Red Devils debut on Sunday evening in Manchester United’s 2-2 draw against Everton in a pre-season friendly.
However, the 40-year-old United manager made the interesting call to shake up his tactical system and deployed Mbeumo in a different position in the attacking set-up.
It had been tipped that the ex-Brentford ace would play as the right-sided No 10 in Ruben Amorim’s tactical system for United, but Mbeumo was instead up top.
Amorim also made the decision to use 3-4-2-1 for United’s encounter with Everton and Mbeumo led the frontline alongside fellow summer signing Matheus Cunha.
Matheus Cunha arrived at United in June from Premier League side Wolves and, much like Mbeumo, was a key summer transfer target for the Red Devils.

Where did Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo land in Man Utd fans’ Man of the Match picks vs Everton?
Bryan Mbeumo’s long-awaited United debut lasted only the first half before Ruben Amorim opted to withdraw him and replaced him with Patrick Dorgu at the break.
The 25-year-old Cameroon winger was lively in attack and Mbeumo superbly linked up with Matheus Cunha, Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes in the attacking dynamic.
Despite a solid debut performance against Everton, former Brentford star Mbeumo only managed to finish fourth with nine per cent of the vote from United fans.
Cunha played into the second half of the Premier League Summer Series clash on Sunday before Amorim took off the ex-Wolves ace and replaced him with Casemiro.
Manchester United’s official website revealed that only four per cent of Red Devils supporters had the 26-year-old Brazil international as their Man of the Match pick.

Man Utd fans voted for their Man of the Match and one standout performer against Everton came out on top
Leny Yoro came third in the Man of the Match voting with 10 per cent of the vote and United fans had Mason Mount and Amad Diallo on 13 per cent of the vote each.
Mason Mount and Amad Diallo were beaten to the accolade by none other than Bruno Fernandes, who took home the lion’s share of the vote with 41 per cent.
Bruno Fernandes produced an impactful display at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the 30-year-old United captain opened the scoring from the spot-kick on Sunday.
The Portugal and United midfielder then picked up an assist in the second half after he set up substitute Mount for the Red Devils’ second against Everton on the day.
