Rocket Arena adds Insomnia Cookies to concessions

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Insomnia Cookies is coming to Rocket Arena.

The cookie company and the team have partnered on a multiyear agreement to make Insomnia Cookies the official cookie partner of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Rocket Arena beginning this season.

Insomnia Cookies is replacing the Cookies N Creameries non-branded stands on the arena’s Street Level.

The new locations will serve an assortment of cookies including classic Insomnia flavors like Chocolate Chunk, Peanut Butter Chip, Snickerdoodle and others. Also, Insomnia’s Cookies IN Ice Cream and other dessert options will be available in suites for Cavaliers and Cleveland Monsters games and some events and concerts.

Insomnia Cookies entered the Northeast Ohio market in 2016 and has locations in downtown Cleveland, Akron and Kent.

Seth Berkowitz, CEO and founder of Insomnia Cookies, said in a press release the company’s goal is to

have 1,800 bakeries open globally over the next decade. Berkowitz started the company when he was a student at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. It targets college campuses.

Insomnia is offering 15% off packs from 11 a.m. today (Monday, Aug. 4) to 3 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at select Cleveland stores with the code GOCAVS. The promotion applies to six-pack, nine-pack and 12-pack orders and cannot be redeemed on promo packs.
