The Houston Rockets were one of the best teams in the Western Conference last season, but they still had their fair share of problems.
One of them was two-point shooting, but that could get a lot better in 2025-26, thanks to Kevin Durant.
As noted by SleeperRockets, Houston ranked 28th last year in two-year shooting at 51.6 percent.
Considering that Durant is one of the best two-point shooters of all time, that number should jump up in the new season.
“Houston’s two-point shooting is just one of the offensive areas Durant should instantly improve,” SleeperRockets stated on X.

Durant’s two-point shooting really is something special.
Last season, he averaged 57.4 percent, and his career average is 54.3 percent.
That will definitely help the team shoot better, but he will do more than that.
Durant isn’t without his issues, but his offensive power is legendary, and he can shoot well from all over the floor.
Last season, he had a 43.0 three-point percentage for the Phoenix Suns.
The important note here is that the Rockets aren’t going to rely solely on Durant.
He may be the team’s most important player and perhaps their definitive leader as well, but there are many other players in the lineup who will guide the team.
Many of them are young and eager to prove themselves.
The Rockets wanted Durant for a number of reasons, but his offensive abilities were toward the top of the list.
In just a few months, Houston fans will be able to enjoy one of the greatest shooters of all time in their jersey.
