The midfielder has penned a new 12-month contract extension, keeping her at the Club for a seventh season.
Coombs moved to the Joie Stadium from Liverpool in the summer of 2019 and has gone on to help City win the FA Cup and Continental Cup across her 135 appearances thus far.

A hugely popular member of the squad, Coombs’ intelligence and versatility have made her a crucial asset for City, with only Lauren Hemp and Jess Park having been at the Club longer than the midfielder.
Speaking about the extension, she said: “It feels good. Last year, it was a bit of an up and down year for me injury wise and then to have the backing of the Club and another chance to have another successful season with the Club has meant a lot to me.
“I feel like it’s a really good time to be involved with the Club and it’s a really exciting time. The Club’s only going to go one way so I’m very happy to be here.”
