The winger, who turned 20 last week, has joined Reading on a season-long loan.
He impressed in the third tier last term as he made 45 appearances across loans with Exeter City and [Crawley Town](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/crawleynews/), scoring 11 goals and assisting in five.
Doyle joined the Seagulls from Southampton 18 months ago and was on the bench against his old club in the 2-2 draw at St Mary’s on Saturday.
He featured for the under-21s against Portsmouth last week.
Shannon Ruth, head coach of the [Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/) development team, told The Argus after that game that Doyle would be heading out on an EFL loan with Jacob Slater and Joe Knight hoping to follow suit.
As Doyle’s loan to Reading was confirmed, Albion technical director David Weir said: “Kamari did really well last season and learned a lot while out on loan.
“Now it’s about taking that into this season and we believe another loan in League One suits him well.
“Gordon Greer and his team will be in touch with Kamari throughout the season."
Doyle joins his Albion colleague Mark O’Mahony, who joined the Royals on loan last month.
O’Mahony started on the opening day of the season as Reading lost 2-0 at Lincoln City.
Reading's director of recruitment Brian Carey expects to see the Republic of Ireland under-21s international make progress this season.
He said: "Mark has come in as a nine. We haven’t seen the best of him yet.
"He will start the season, he’s a good young striker and will lead the line for us this season.”
Caylan Vickers, who played for the Seagulls’ senior side against Stoke City in Marbella, is off to a good start on loan at Barnsley.
He played the first 68 minutes on the right of a front three in a 3-1 win at Plymouth.
Barnsley boss Conor Hourihane said: "I know this team will score goals. Dave McGoldrick, Adam Phillips, Keillor-Dunn and Caylan Vickers.
"We’ve got goals in us. There’s no question about it."
Winger Amario Cozier-Duberry appears to have impressed on his debut on loan with Bolton, even though they went down 2-0 to a Stockport side whose midfield included veteran former Albion man Oliver Norwood.
Jamie Mullins, the Albion under-21s midfielder who made a permanent move to Wycombe recently, went straight into the League One side's starting XI.
He played the full 90 minutes of a 2-1 defeat away to newly-promoted Bradford City before almost 20,000 fans at the University of Bradford Stadium.
Opening day goalscorers in League One included former Albion under-21s midfielder Jensen Weir as he helped Wigan beat Northampton 3-1.
Louis Flower, the former Chelsea academy striker who left the Seagulls this summer, made his EFL debut as a substitute for Crawley Town in their 3-0 defeat at Grimsby in League Two.
