**Newcastle United are starting to get slightly impatient when it comes to their chase of RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko.**
The Magpies have made their £70 million bid, and despite reports suggesting that the bid was rejected by Leipzig, it is suggested that Newcastle are awaiting the player's decision, with Manchester United still not having made their bid.
Newcastle offered exactly what Leipzig were asking, so it would be strange to suggest that the bid had been rejected, and the fact that there have been no reports of another bid suggests that the initial offer is still the one on the table.
Meanwhile, it's expected that Man United will make an offer for Sesko, adding more pressure on Newcastle and the player.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has reiterated that Man United are set to make a bid, but he also reports that Newcastle have set a deadline of 48 hours for Sesko to make up his mind.
> "Newcastle want an answer from Benjamin Sesko within 48 hours."#NUFC now confident they can reach an agreement with Leipzig but have no plans to allow the saga to drag on to the latter part of this week without clarity.

Newcastle is prepared to meet the demands of both the club and the player, so it all comes down to where he wants to move. However, if Manchester United are holding things up by not bidding, while Sesko drags out his decision until they do, it definitely feels like we have our answer.
It makes sense then, that Newcastle would give Sesko a deadline as if he doesn't want to come, we need to move on and find another target.
We still can't see why a player who wants to leave his club after they failed to qualify for the CHampions League would turn down a club in that competition to move to one that isn't, but
