Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford scored his first goal in Barcelona colours as the Spanish side ended their tour of Asia.
After Aston Villa walked away from a summer deal, Marcus Rashford pursued a “dream” move to Barcelona and ended up joining on a loan deal.
Rashford joined Barcelona on loan with an option to buy, which the Spanish side are expected to trigger next summer to make the deal permanent.
Earlier this week, Rashford said he wants to win the Champions League with Barcelona, so he is clearly dreaming big since his move to Spain.

The Carrington graduate has already made a strong impression since joining Barcelona last month.
Last week, Rashford starred in a 7-3 Barcelona win against Jesse Lingard’s FC Seoul, but it didn’t earn him a starting spot against Daegu for Monday’s pre-season friendly.
However, Rashford scored against Daegu after coming off the bench at half-time. The United loanee struck a first-time shot from the centre of the box to score Barcelona’s fifth and final goal in a 5-0 win.
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo summed up Rashford’s performance with one word: “Accurate”.

They added: “He scored his first goal for FC Barcelona, proving that being a number 9 isn’t against his nature. He burst into the centre of the box to finish with a first-time effort to make it 5-0. He had previously helped create the 4-0.”
FootballEspana also raved about Rashford’s display, giving him a 7/10 rating for his performance.
They wrote: “Played more central, and at times was crowded out. The one chance he did get was finished perfectly, and that will be what Flick enjoyed about his performance.”
Marcus Rashford tested in new role for Barcelona
Rashford’s biggest challenge at Barcelona will be working his way into Hansi Flick’s starting lineup.
With Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Robert Lewandowski all competing for starting spots, Rashford has his work cut out.
However, Rashford is happy to play as a No.9 for Barcelona despite having struggled to play centrally at United.
In his first two Barcelona appearances, Rashford played off the left, but against Daegu, Flick trusted him in a central role.

Rashford’s movement in the box was sharp and he opened his goalscoring account for Barcelona with a well-taken strike.
Rashford will hope for more minutes in Barcelona’s final pre-season test against Como on August 10.
