Just months after beating the Knicks, Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers was back in New York City on Sunday, and some loud fans let him hear it.
Haliburton was booed when he appeared at WWE SummerSlam, but he took it with a smile.
Following the reception from Knicks fans, Haliburton posted a response on social media.
“Missed y’all too NY,” Haliburton posted on X.

It’s understandable that Knicks fans weren’t happy to see Haliburton.
They already had a checkered past with the Pacers, but Haliburton made it even tougher back in May, when he and his Indiana squad pushed the Knicks out of the playoffs after six games.
During that series, Haliburton averaged 21.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 10.5 assists per game.
He was playing his heart out, and it made life very hard for the Knicks.
Following his defeat of the Knicks, Haliburton moved on to the NBA Finals, where he squared off against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
As everyone knows, the Pacers lost that series and also lost Haliburton at the start of Game 7.
Haliburton might not be back at all next season as he continues to heal from his recovery, so the Knicks won’t see him on their court for a while.
New York now has a wide-open Eastern Conference, and they will try to make the most of it.
But even if they do very well and go all the way to the Finals, they will still hold a grudge against Haliburton.
Since the start of his time with the Pacers, he’s been well aware of the history between his team and the Knicks, and has played into it.
He obviously loves being the villain in New York.
