With just weeks to go till the new Premier League season, Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has some concerns. Despite the club adding seven new players, according to him more business must be done.
The Whites were held to a 1-1 draw by La Liga side Villarreal over the weekend. Joel Piroe continued his fine form in pre-season as he scored once again. The match ended in a draw, but Farke said his side need to improve in some areas ahead of their Premier League opener.

“We are not naive,” Farke said “We know that even in comparison to our Championship offence you could say that we are not much improved.
“We know in the offence we are not ready for Premier League level. We’ve proven we can be ready for one game and for that I am not too concerned at the moment as it stands.
“I know especially with the offence, in the last bit you can add some quality. Of course as a manager you want all the players available on the first day of pre-season and to have training sessions with them because they need to adapt to the group and the principles.”

Leeds can add that spark they need in attack that Daniel Farke is speaking on. According to GMS, the Whites are interested in signing Galatasaray star Gabriel Sara. The former Norwich City star has a price tag around £35million this summer. Reports suggest that the Brazilian is open to a return to England this summer.
Aston Villa are also keeping their eye on the 26-year old.
The latest with Bilal El Khannouss
Another attacking midfielder Leeds have their eye on is Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss.
Leeds held talks with the Foxes to figure out the details of a potential deal this summer. According to reports, the 21-year old has a relegation release clause worth around £24.5million. Leicester will reportedly want more than that to part ways with the playmaker this summer.
Spurs and Sunderland are also monitoring the situation as it stands.
Sara fits in many attacking roles
The former Norwich star fits in a variety of roles. Sara brings a creative spark in the middle of the park and can progress the ball. He would be a perfect fit for the number eight role if Daniel Farke persists on continuing his new 4-3-3 system into next season.
Leeds’ current midfield options are defensive minded, or good with the ball, but when it comes to pure creative stars, they lack quite a bit.
