Position: SF

Age: 27

Height: 208 cm

Weight: 95 kg

Birth place: Missouri, United States of America

Porter is getting ready for his first NBA season outside of Denver with the Brooklyn Nets.

But the Denver Nuggets managed to rebuild their squad for next season using less money than they would have to spend in scenario where Porter stays with the team.

First of all, Porter and his $38.3 million contract for next season were traded to the Brooklyn Nets for Cameron Johnson, who is owed $20.5 million for 2025-26 campaign.

With $17.8 million left of money that was supposed to go to Porter, Nuggets had space to inquire even more signings.

Jonas Valanciunas will take up $10.4 million in salary cap for next year, Tim Hardaway Jr. will earn $3.6 million, whilst Bruce Brown returned to Denver, earning $2.5 million.

Four new Nuggets players combined will earn $37 million next season, still $1.3 million less than Michael Porter alone.
