Several Championship sides are interested in an in-demand Liverpool youngster after his impressive breakout campaign.
Norwich City are heading into the 2025/26 Championship campaign as favourites for a top-six finish following their impressive summer business.
This week, Norwich signed Mirko Topic from Portuguese outfit Famalicao in a £3m deal, with the Serbian midfielder becoming the Canaries’ ninth signing of the summer.
After Liam Manning arrived at Carrow Road, the signings have matched the club’s ambitions to earn promotion to the Premier League.
Now, the Canaries are “interested” in an in-demand Liverpool starlet, but face stiff competition from several Championship rivals for his services.

Norwich City must win race to sign Lewis Koumas from Liverpool
Liverpool starlet Lewis Koumas is in high demand this summer after his impressive loan stint with Stoke City last season.
Earlier in the window, reports emerged that Sheffield United are keen on Koumas, and that the Blades were plotting a loan move for the 19-year-old.
Now, the Liverpool Echo report that “a host of second tier teams – Norwich City, Sheffield United, Hull City, Preston North End, Oxford and promoted duo Birmingham City and Wrexham – have all expressed an interest” in Koumas.
Welsh international Koumas scored six goals and notched three assists in 49 games in all competitions for the Potters last season.
Stoke boss Mark Robins labelled Koumas as “brilliant” after his FA Cup brace against Cardiff City, which ended in a 4-2 defeat on penalties for the Potters.
Robins told Stoke’s media: “I thought we showed a brilliant character, and worked our way into a 2-1 with a brilliant move and brilliant goal from Lewis Koumas.
“I thought that sort of typifies everything that we want from him and know he is capable of, and then he gets his second and brings us back to level.”
After Norwich lost Borja Sainz to Porto this summer, the Canaries need attacking recruits, and Koumas would be an exciting addition to Manning’s squad.

The Mirror report that Liverpool boss Arne Slot has sanctioned Koumas’ exit amid the squad overhaul at Anfield.
As a result, the Canaries must capitalise and win the race to sign Koumas, who scored on his Liverpool debut in the FA Cup last year in a 3-0 win over Southampton.

Norwich are well regarded for attracting young talent, developing their careers and making big returns on their investments, as seen over recent seasons with the sales of Sainz and Jonathan Rowe.
With Manning’s track record for improving players and Norwich’s need for attacking reinforcements, Koumas to the Canaries could prove to be inspired business.
