Chelsea welcome German side Bayer Leverkusen to Stamford Bridge for their first friendly of the summer on Friday night.
Enzo Maresca’s side haven’t yet started their pre-season campaign due to their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup earlier this summer.
The Blues ultimately won the competition, and will now face Leverkusen and AC Milan in their only two matches before the new Premier League campaign begins later this month.
Off the pitch, though, it appears that one member of Maresca’s squad could be on his way out of the club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Everton have submitted a bid for Chelsea midfielder Keirnan Dewsbury-Hall.

The journalist claims that the Toffees have tabled their opening offer for the Englishman, who joined Chelsea from Leicester City last summer.
Dewsbury-Hall made 36 appearances for the Blues during his debut season in London, but started just two of their 38 Premier League matches.
In that time the Englishman netted five goals, including one at the Club World Cup in the United States.
Romano suggests that Chelsea could be willing to accept a permanent sale, with the two clubs now set for further discussions in an effort to agree a deal.
The 26-year-old signed a long term contract when he joined the Blues last summer, with his current deal not set to expire until the end of the 2028/29 season.
It appears, however, that he could depart SW6 in the coming weeks with Everton keen to lure him to Merseyside.
