Wolves remain keen to sign a new right wing-back after Nelson Semedo left, and the club now have eyes on a player from Borussia Dortmund.
Wolves sorted out the left wing-back position last week with the signing of David Moller Wolfe from AZ Alkmaar.
But attention has now turned back to right wing-back.
Wolves thought they had a deal for Marc Pubill sewn up a couple of weeks ago, but Atletico Madrid’s hijack has set the club back.
Juanlu Sanchez is strongly linked with Wolves right now and seems like the favourite to come in and be Semedo’s successor.
But Wolves are also said to be looking to someone Jorgen Strand Larsen knows well.

It’s been claimed by Sky Sports Germany that Wolves are also interested in Julian Ryerson.
Of course at the moment, there is heavy speculation that Wanderers will be signing Sanchez from Sevilla.

It was even suggested an agreement in principle is in place.
But Sky Sports Germany say both Wolves and Sunderland are interested in Borussia Dortmund ace Ryerson, who is said to dream of playing in the Premier League.

Right now he is said to feel comfortable in Dortmund. But a move to the English top-flight greatly appeals to him.
It is stated that neither Wolves nor Sunderland have yet made contact with Dortmund – only the player.
Interestingly, Ryerson is another Norway international and of course, Wolves currently have two Norwegians in Jorgen Strand Larsen and David Moller Wolfe.
Versatile Ryerson has been compared to Achraf Hakimi
Strand Larsen has helped Wolves with two transfer deals already this summer.
He knew Fer Lopez and sold the club to him, and then Wolves have said Strand Larsen was also consulted over the signing of Moller Wolfe.
Potentially, the Norwegian contingent could be further expanded as Wolves show interest in Ryerson who, according to a feature from the official Bundesliga website, is a little bit like Paris Saint-Germain superstar Achraf Hakimi.

The feature read: “Ryerson is a right-back by trade, but is – like former Dortmund man Achraf Hakimi – equally adept on the opposite flank. Indeed, he has made almost as many appearances on the left as he has on the right for Die Schwarzgelben.”
Dortmund sporting director Sebastien Kehl also previously said of Ryerson: “Julian Ryerson is an intelligent and aggressive defender, in a good way. He can play in a back four or a back three – his versatility is a real asset.”
Given the links to Sanchez, one wonders if this contact with Ryerson is just in case the Sanchez deal falls through.
Ideally though, Wolves will get another body through the door this week, and the player in question can quickly get to grips with team tactics.
