Jackson Tchatchoua has been linked with a move to the Premier League for over a year, with Everton credited with interest during the 2024 summer transfer window.
This year it’s been the turn of Nottingham Forest, with claims in July talking about a €10m offer from Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, before later reports said the club were willing to increase that offer to around €12m.
That was a couple of weeks ago, with not a great deal being said on the move to Nottingham Forest since. Now it would appear they’re on the verge of an agreement with Tchatchoua’s current club Hellas Verona, with TMW reporting the transfer is ‘very close’ to happening.
Tchatchoua can play as a right back, right wing back and on the right side of midfield. The 23-year-old can also help out on the left if required.
That €12m figure is mentioned again, with Nottingham Forest said to be offering that plus unspecified bonuses. The player himself would receive a four year contract, and this sounds like a transfer going in the right director.
