De'Aaron Fox has agreed to an eye-watering maximum contract extension with the Spurs, according to a report.
Fox, 27, is a one-time All-Star selection and was traded to San Antonio last February.
And the organization has now invested in him even further as he agreed to a four-year, $229million extension with the team, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Fox is set to earn just over $37million next season in the last year of the five year, $163million deal he previously signed with the Kings.
However, his new deal will place him into a new stratosphere financially, as his average annual salary of $57.25million will be the third-highest in the league.
Only Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anthony Davis currently have a higher average annual salary.
