Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani has rejected transfer interest from Manchester United as he has set his sights on a return to Juventus, it has been claimed. The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at the Serie A side, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions.
It doesn't seem as though Kolo Muani has a long-term future with PSG after falling down their pecking order. He signed for the French club in a £65million plus add-ons move from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2023, but the move has not worked out - he has netted just 11 times in 54 matches at the Parc des Princes.
He's tipped to leave PSG again this summer and United are among those that have been linked with a move, as Ruben Amorim's side attempt to strengthen their forward line. Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have arrived through the Old Trafford doors for a combined £127.5million, but more signings are expected to follow.
However, United might be set to lose out on a move for Kolo Muani following an update from GOAL. They report that the France international has "turned down" United as he tries to re-sign for Juventus instead.
Juventus have proposed a loan deal worth up to £13million with an option to buy him for £26million. United, along with Tottenham, are understood to have been namedropped to hurry a deal along with the Italian giants.
As a player that can be used anywhere across the front-line, Kolo Muani would have added more strength and power to United's attacking options ahead of the new Premier League season. But the club are going to have to look elsewhere with Kolo Muani making it clear that his preference is a return to Juventus.
Amorim's United, meanwhile, are expected to make a formal offer for RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko after Newcastle made a £69.8million bid on Saturday.
United have been in talks with Leipzig with regards to a move and a transfer fee they would be prepared to pay. Newcastle, meanwhile, are also in negotiations over the structure of the deal. Sesko, who scored 21 goals in 45 appearances last season, is open to a move to both projects but it's reported that he's leaning towards a switch to Manchester if they can agree a deal.
