Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Everton have agreed a deal to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea, as the midfielder looks to leave the Blues and reignite his career.
CHELSEA have pretty done all their transfer business in bringing players in, as Jorrel Hato is the latest name to make the move to Stamford Bridge as Enzo Maresca builds a very exciting squad for next season.
But the Blues are now keen to make sure that they recoup some of that £250 million they have spent on new players this season, and have been working hard to get a number of players out the club, Drewsbury-Hall is a man that Maresca no longer needs.
The 26-year-old followed Maresca from Leicester to Chelsea last summer but was almost immediately linked with a transfer after struggling for game time at the Bridge.
Everton’s offer is for an initial £25m, plus £4m in add-ons, but it is said the deal is not related to their pursuit of Southampton’s Tyler Dibling, with David Moyes keen to sign both Englishmen
Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel recently urged Dewsbury-Hall to find a new team this summer, saying: ‘He did well in the Championship with Leicester, but this is Chelsea Football Club.
‘He needs to go somewhere he can play and improve. Is he a good player? Yes. Is he a Chelsea player? Definitely not.’

He is a decent player and moving to Everton is a great idea, he will get a more permanent home, play at a very high level and will get the game time that he needs to get his career right back on track.
It is a shame that he could not fulfil his potential at CHELSEA, but moving on is definitely the right decision, and the Blues have got some decent money in the process.
