Benjamin Sesko has been linked to Man Utd
Manchester United are aiming to recover this season following their worst-ever Premier League finish. Last season saw United end up in 15th place, missing out on Champions League qualification after a defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final.
The squad has already been bolstered with the arrivals of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon, while Marcus Rashford has been loaned out to Barcelona and both Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof have been let go.
With the transfer window soon to close, more changes are anticipated as Ruben Amorim is keen to offload players such as Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.

Benjamin Sesko boost
Sesko is wanted by United
Man Utd have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Benjamin Sesko
United's pursuit of Benjamin Sesko has received a lift following news that his RB Leipzig teammate Lois Openda won't be moving to Sunderland, reports the Mirror.
Both United and Newcastle have shown interest in Sesko, who scored 21 goals in 45 matches in all competitions last season. Openda, another Leipzig forward, was strongly linked with Sunderland, and it's unlikely that two strikers would be allowed to leave in the same window.
However, Sky Sports now reports that Openda won't be moving to Sunderland, suggesting that Leipzig are more likely to sell Sesko instead.

"There was nothing spicy there, it's normal, it is part of the game. It's been positive [the US tour] and it's good to create a bond with the players. We looked a bit lazy today and we need to change that.
"We needed more quality to get everyone to step up a bit more and to have more to do to get into the starting line-up. I think that's what the club and the manager are trying to do and hopefully we can get one or two players more to help with that."

Premier League icon Alan Shearer is convinced that Benjamin Sesko would flourish if he makes the switch to Manchester United this summer.
When questioned whether Sesko possesses the attributes to succeed in England, Shearer told Amazon Prime: "I do, I think it's a matter of who can afford him.
"There is no doubt that this football club has a history of making an absolute fortune on transfers and this guy could be the next one to come into the Premier League. Either foot - left or right - which is great to see.

"The work rate, the work off the ball, he's got all them things and he's got very good technique, good balance and I don't think there is a doubt in my mind that and he would look very comfortable in the Premier League. I do think he has a lot to learn, but he can learn no doubt."
