Dion Lopy has attracted interest this summer, and Everton now know what it’ll take to sign him.
David Moyes will be delighted with the way Everton have accelerated transfer plans over the last few days, with several deals in the pipeline.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is edging closer to a move to the Toffees, while negotiations remain ongoing to find a solution to the transfer saga surrounding Tyler Dibling.
However, a new name has emerged overnight with African midfielder Lopy, and Everton know what they need to do if they are to sign him this summer.

Almeria want over £17m to sanction Lopy sale
Lopy had an excellent campaign for Almeria last time out, though that has ultimately come at a cost for the Liga.2 side.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
That is because, according to a report in the print edition of Marca Aragon (5 August, pg19), Everton and Nice are now attracted by the prospect of signing him.
Lopy’s strengths:
Physicality
Athleticism
Consistent performer
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder was the subject of a bid from the Toffees recently, though it was swiftly rejected, with Almeria said to be holding out for a fee in excess of £17million.
It is said that it would take an “irrevocable offer” for the Spanish outfit to even consider his sale, having already lost several key players this summer.

Who is Everton’s latest target?
Lopy is far from a household name, but at just 23 years old, he has the potential to be in the future and has already been linked with a move to Everton in the past.
The Senegal midfielder started his career at Reims in Ligue 1 before making the move to Almeria in 2023, where he has since featured 73 times, with five caps to his name for Senegal.
Almost half of those appearances arrived in the top flight, though he was unable to prevent his side from suffering relegation.
Lopy is a dominant defensive midfielder, which is exactly what the Toffees need this summer, though it remains to be seen if he wants a move.
