Chelsea’s summer transfer window has again been extremely productive, and in recent days has reached a new level when it comes to player sales.
Monday August 4 saw a flurry of outgoings being reported to be close to being confirmed, with this bringing plenty of money the club’s way.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is set to leave the club after Chelsea accepted a bid from Everton to sign him permanently. It has been said that Dewsbury-Hall was reluctant to leave the Blues after just one season.
Carney Chukwuemeka and Lesley Ugochukwu are also now both close to the exit door. Borussia Dortmund and Burnley are closing in on the young duo respectively.

Chelsea ‘will’ sell more big players after flurry of exits
With Armando Broja also moving to the recently-promoted Premier League side, attention will quickly turn to who else the Blues will part ways with to raise more funds to make signings with.
Fabrizio Romano has stated that there are still a number of player sales the club are working on, and Christopher Nkunku and Raheem Sterling are two players that will definitely move on, while there will be an attempt to shift Axel Disasi.

He said: “Let me remind you of the rest. Because Chelsea are working. Sterling will go. Nicolas Jackson can go, Nkunku will go, Tyrique George can go on a permanent transfer. Big movements, and this means Chelsea will be ready to attack for new signings.
“The negotiations continue with Leipzig for Xavi Simons. The player has been very clear, he wants to go to Chelsea. The sale of these players is helping Chelsea to generate money, to do an important job.

“There will be more to do, because then there are also the defenders. Disasi, and more. So Chelsea will be working on more outgoings, but Chelsea are doing a very good job on that.”
Nkunku is wanted by Inter Milan, however finding clubs keen on signing Raheem Sterling is proving difficult after his poor spell on loan at Arsenal.
Newcastle are weighing up a move for Disasi, who Aston Villa decided not to sign permanently after he was loaned there for the second half of last season.

Chelsea looking for player sales to make final signings
Despite being in a strong PSR situation, the Blues are still looking to complete sales before adding to their incomings this summer.
With the likes of Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Jorrel Hato already through the door, Chelsea still want more signings before September’s transfer deadline.
Xavi Simons has missed training with RB Leipzig in an attempt to force through his own move to Stamford Bridge.
Despite plenty of attackers joining this summer, there remains strong interest in Alejandro Garnacho at Manchester United, who is very much out of Ruben Amorim’s plans.
