Our two forwards have opted to switch ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, with our record goalscorer Shaw becoming the Club’s new No.9.

Miedema – the WSL’s record scorer – is now confirmed as our number ten, taking the mantle from departing fellow Dutch international, Jill Roord.

The pair were City’s two highest scorers across the 2024/25 campaign, with Shaw notching 19 in 22 matches and Miedema grabbing 11 in 19.
Shaw ended the season as the WSL’s Golden Boot winner for a second successive season, while Miedema’s stunning strike against Aston Villa in January 2025 was named Goal of the Season.
But now the pair are ready to start a fresh chapter in the Club’s rich history of number nines and tens over the years.
