If Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell were hoping for a second chance at Chelsea, both players can forget about it.
Sterling and Chilwell were both frozen out of the first team last season, with neither in Enzo Maresca‘s plans.
The latter was eventually reintegrated into the senior squad before being allowed to join Crystal Palace on loan in the January transfer window. However, there is no chance of that happening again this time around.
Chelsea will be desperate to offload Sterling and Chilwell, who are high earners at the club, but they are yet to receive any offers for them.

Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell training away from first team
Not being in the club’s long-term plans, Chelsea are refusing to let Sterling and Chilwell train with Maresca’s squad.
Sources have told the Daily Mail that Sterling and Chilwell are expected to continue working away from the main group.
The outlet claims that the same also applies to everyone else at the club who is up for sale this summer.
While Chelsea are struggling to offload Sterling and Chilwell, they are at least having some success with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Lesley Ugochukwu.

Which clubs are interested in Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell?
While Fulham will now miss out on Dewsbury-Hall after showing interest in the midfielder, they could still end up signing one player from Chelsea during this transfer window.
It is thought that Fulham have Sterling on their radar, so they are one club who could potentially take the winger off Chelsea’s hands.
As for his teammate, Burnley have considered Chilwell but are yet to submit a formal offer for the 28-year-old.
Sterling and Chilwell are both England internationals; they may want to play at a higher level. But right now, they will probably not get too many better offers in England.
