Leeds United must start thinking about the possibility of letting players go this transfer window.
Not many have left Elland Road, with only Junior Firpo the real notable one in Daniel Farke’s side.
Of course, the destiny of Patrick Bamford and Mateo Joseph is yet to be confirmed at Leeds, but their exit is inevitable.
Leeds are fuming with Joseph after the way he’s handled his future with no developments just yet with Real Betis.
The 49ers are getting increasingly impatient, but this time the owners are providing a roadblock for one player who needs to leave the club this summer.

Leeds United will only allow Isaac Schmidt to leave once a full-back is signed
It’s clear that after Leeds’ 2-2 draw with Villarreal that Isaac Schmidt needs a loan move as his development needs to drastically improve.
The Swiss looked all over the place in the first game at Fortress Elland this pre-season, but it seemed obvious the full-back would seek a move away from West Yorkshire this summer after very limited game time.

That’s what Deich Stube are reporting on as Schmidt is due to join Werder Bremen on loan, but there’s a catch.

It’s been pointed out that the Whites will only let the 25-year-old leave this window if a replacement is in the pipeline.
Bremen are confident of getting a deal done, with an option to buy potentially included, but it all rests on the Peacocks finding a suitable full-back option to come in.
Daniel Farke has wasted Isaac Schmidt’s time at Leeds United
It’s clear that after his first season in England, Schmidt has found it very difficult.
Since the defender’s £2.5 million move from St. Gallen last summer, his limited minutes cannot really reflect on his ability.
He wasn’t at his best in the friendly against Villarreal, but when given the time to show his ability, Schmidt has impressed.
Ultimately, Farke’s treatment of the Swiss star has been poor, and even Leeds fans are ‘gutted’ for Schmidt.
The Whites boss has wasted what could have been a promising addition to his plans, as the full-back might have the desire to include an option to buy in the Bremen deal, to start a fresh new chapter.
Schmidt wants to play in the World Cup, and he won’t get that chance in the Premier League, but once again, it’s Leeds putting a hold on his career.
