TBR Football understands that Borussia Dortmund are in talks with Chelsea over a deal for Carney Chukwuemeka, and the expectation from both parties is that a deal is done.
Carney Chukwuemeka ended last season on loan at Dortmund, and the 21-year-old is eager to make his return to the Bundesliga.
The Blues have reduced their asking price to around £22 million, which the German club are seemingly ready to pay.
But, TBR Football can also reveal that Dortmund and Chelsea have had talks about other players who could depart Stamford Bridge this summer.

The 19-year-old played 26 times for the Blues last season, but struggled to establish himself in the team at Stamford Bridge.
The West London club have already done other business with Dortmund this summer, with Chelsea signing Jamie Gittens for around £51.5m.
Dortmund, who are still interested in former star Jadon Sancho as well as Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte, feel George could be a great fit for them if Enzo Maresca’s side were willing to do a deal.
The Blues’ Italian manager remains keen on making more new signings this summer, with Chelsea working on deals for Xavi Simons and Aleandro Garnacho.
TBR Football can confirm that Chelsea also offered Renato Veiga and Axel Disasi to Dortmund during their talks.
Tyrique George has already hinted at Chelsea exit
George has already suggested that he would look to leave Chelsea at some point if he were not getting enough game time.
When asked about his short-term aims, he claimed that he just wanted to play as many games as possible, whether that be with the West London club or elsewhere.
George told Rising Ballers: “Long-term, just to play as many games as possible, whether that’s at Chelsea or somewhere else. I’m just really happy to keep playing games and gaining experience as well.”
The West London club now look set to lose another talented youngster, who is eager to go in search of regular minutes elsewhere.
