Everton ‘committee’ agree on interesting Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall plan for David Moyes -…

Everton are returning home from the United States with a long to-do list on Angus Kinnear’s desk back at Finch Farm.

David Moyes is well aware that a considerable amount of work needs to be completed in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.

The 62-year-old cast a frustrated figure whilst across the pond, with Moyes publicly demanding more signings at Everton.

With the new season just weeks away, Everton are now upping their efforts to get their squad in order for the curtain raiser away to Leeds United.

Everton are closing in on a deal to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea, with negotiations now advanced.

Those at Finch Farm have already decided where the midfielder will perfectly fit in Moyes’ starting XI.

It is also believed the player’s natural left foot will also offer a better balance to the current midfield options.

With a clear run at the midfielder, Everton are hoping to get this deal over the line this week.

Moyes wanted to sign Douglas Luiz, but it seems as if that deal may now be drifting away amid interest from Nottingham Forest.

But it appears the Blues have landed on their feet with a player who they feel provides an immediate upgrade, and is keen to sign for Everton as quickly as possible.

Dewsbury-Hall offers big upgrade on James Garner

Some Everton fans criticised James Garner last season, with some of his performances leaving a lot to be desired.

Playing against his former side on Sunday evening in Atlanta, Garner actually really impressed with a solid showing.

However, it seems as if Dewsbury-Hall is going to land on Merseyside and take his spot alongside Idrissa Gana Gueye.

Ultimately, Everton need some real competition for places in their starting XI.

If Garner and the likes of Tim Iroegbunam feel they have to fight for their spot in the XI, it could well see them take their game to a new level under Moyes.
