West Ham have reached a verbal agreement to sign Botafogo goalkeeper John Victor, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Hammers have been busy this summer to bolster Graham Potter's squad ahead of the new season, with defenders El Hadji Malick Diouf and Kyle Walker-Peters joining, while a deal was completed to bring in Callum Wilson in attack over the weekend too.
But after veteran goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski departed the London Stadium at the end of his contract earlier in the summer, a move has now been agreed to replace him with Brazilian sensation Victor.

Botafago goalkeeper, John Victor
Victor, who has been described as 'phenomenal' following his performances for Botafogo during the Club World Cup tournament this summer, has been linked with a move to England all summer but it's the Hammers who have seemingly won the race for his signature.
The 29-year-old has agreed personal terms ahead of a move to east London and the final details are being sorted between the clubs after an £8.6m offer, and Romano says the deal is almost sealed.
Finals checks are being done on the documents for the deal and then the player will travel to the UK for a medical and to put pen to paper on a contract.
The Irons had also shown an interest in Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, with advanced talks held, and personal terms agreed with Leicester star Mads Hermansen ahead of a potential move, but it now seems that they have opted to proceed for Victor instead.
