Following relegation from the Premier League last season, Ipswich Town are in the process of preparing for the Championship once again, with more incomings and outgoings expected at Portman Road.
The Tractor Boys endured back-to-back promotions from League One and the Championship in 2022/23 and 2023/24 under Kieran McKenna, but their first season back in the top flight in 22 years wasn't the fairytale story fans of the club would have been hoping for.
McKenna's side had won just four games all season and collected 22 points, as Ipswich ultimately finished in 19th place, 16 points behind 17th-placed Spurs and with a negative goal difference of 46.
However, relegation may have been a blessing in disguise for the Suffolk-based club, as they will enter the 2025/26 season as one of the outright favourites to win the Championship, along with the other two parachute payment clubs - Leicester City and Southampton.
Dutch midfielder Azor Matusiwa has been their biggest outlay so far, having been signed for a reported £7.8 million, as McKenna looks to invigorate the middle of the park, with Cedric Kipre signing on loan from Reims and Ashley Young joining on a free to bolster defensive options.
Middlesbrough midfielder and England under-21 international Hayden Hackney has also been identified as an Ipswich target, but, according to The Northern Echo, has turned down a move to Portman Road.
Liam Delap's £30 million move to Chelsea is by far the club's biggest outgoing so far, and in fact the only one they have received a fee for. Club captain Sam Morsy has departed Ipswich to join Kuwait SC in the Middle East, whilst Cameron Burgess, Axel Tuanzebe, Massimo Luongo and Marcus Harness have all left the club following the expiration of their contracts.
With business far from done, Football League World has looked at a few players who could depart the club before the end of the window.
Omari Hutchinson

Following a successful loan spell in Ipswich's promotion campaign from the Championship, Omari Hutchinson was signed permanently for £22.5 million from Chelsea.
The 21-year-old was a regular in the Tractor Boys' side as they suffered relegation from the Premier League.

This summer, he played a key role as England under-21s lifted the European Championship, defeating Germany in the final.
His performances have alerted Premier League club Brentford, who, according to Fabrizio Romano, had a bid of £35 million rejected for Hutchinson in July and remain key admirers.
With interest in Hutchison high, it wouldn't be surprising to see the winger depart Portman Road this summer.
Arijanet Muric
Arijanet Muric
Arijanet Muric was signed to be Ipswich's number one goalkeeper for last season's Premier League campaign, joining from Burnley for a fee that could reach upwards of £15 million.
However, after just 18 games, Muric was dropped as Alex Palmer joined the club from West Brom, where he took over the role of the club's starting keeper for the remainder of the season.
This pre-season, Palmer has remained as the club's number one for friendly matches, with reports in July that Italian club Sassuolo and French club Monaco had held interest in the Kosovan international.
It would be difficult to see Muric sticking around as anything other than a number one at Portman Road, so it wouldn't be a shock to see the former Manchester City goalkeeper move on before the window is over.
Nathan Broadhead
Nathan Broadhead
Welsh international Nathan Broadhead joined Ipswich whilst they were still in League One in January 2023.
The Everton academy product played a key role in helping the club to back-to-back promotions from League One and the Championship, and even managed two goals in 18 Premier League matches last season.
However, Wrexham have reportedly bid upwards of £7.5 million for Broadhead, as the newly promoted side looks to stamp its authority on the rest of the league.
It remains to be seen where exactly Ipswich stand on this matter, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see Broadhead become Wrexham's statement signing before the end of the window.
