Everton’s transfer plans are being pushed along at speed now the team have touched down on Merseyside.
A number of weeks remain until the summer window shuts, but David Moyes is pushing his recruitment team to spring into life.
It was certainly a mixed bag over in the United States as far as Everton’s pre-season went, with the Toffees’ weaknesses on display.
However, Everton are closing in on a deal for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and there will be more to follow.
With further big-profile additions being eyed, Everton are hoping to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City on loan.
Friend of Grealish, Gabriel Agbonlahor, has now shared an exciting insight on what he’s seen from the 29-year-old this summer.

Jack Grealish’s best position shared amid Everton interest
It is expected that Grealish will wait until the final week of the window before choosing his next club, as he wants to really assess his options.
That will pose an obvious risk for Everton, with Moyes really pushing to get signings over the line as quickly as possible.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, Agbonlahor has admitted Grealish could really thrive at Everton given his favoured position.
“If you’re Thomas Frank, James Maddison is out, Jack Grealish is over there in Manchester, he could have him,” said Agbonlahor.
“I don’t know what the deal would be, would it be a loan fee, would it be a percentage of his wages? It seems like a no-brainer.
“He’s such a talented player. He’s been at it all summer with his fitness work, he’s looking sharp!”
“When he’s had his best game for England in recent years it was against Ireland in the number 10 role.”
It is believed Man City want £12m in loan fees for Grealish this summer, given the player’s enormous salary, which needs covering.
But, as Agbonlahor suggested, this is a player which is going to be in high demand and could even see Tottenham Hotspur enter the race.
Everton face Tottenham Hotspur competition for Grealish
Tottenham experienced a really frustrating injury on the weekend as James Maddison’s season appears to be over before it’s even begun.
With Dejan Kulusevski also out for months, Spurs are likely going to be in the market for a number 10 this summer.
It has already been claimed that there is an expectation for Spurs to join the Grealish race ahead of the window closing in September.
This will pile the pressure on Everton’s recruitment team, given Spurs can offer the 29-year-old Champions League football.
Everton hope to convince Grealish of their project, and the opportunity to remain in the north west could appeal.
But Agbonlahor clearly feels a move to north London could soon materialise.
