Leeds yet to make decisive move for player and solve striker merry-go-round for club

Leeds United are yet to make a decisive move for Roma striker Artem Dovbyk, despite showing an interest in him.

That’s according to Il Messaggero, [via Tutto Atalanta](https://www.tuttoatalanta.com/le-altre-di-a/roma-rivoluzione-in-attacco-dovbyk-sacrificato-per-krstovic-120731), who report that Dovbyk’s future appears to be far from Rome at this moment in time.

They say that the Ukrainian striker has slipped down the attacking hierarchy at Roma after Evan Ferguson’s arrival and is now officially on the market. Roma want at least €30m to sell him and avoid losses.

No ‘serious buyers’ have arrived as yet according to the newspaper, despite inquiries from Leeds and West Ham in the Premier League and Besiktas in Turkey. Attempts with Juventus and AC Milan, who were contacted directly by the player’s entourage, have been unsuccessful.

Should Dovbyk leave, then Roma are targeting Nikola Krstović at Lecce. He’s already agreed to the deal and would cost around €25 if youngsters are included in the deal.

He’s previously put Leeds on hold after they made moves for him earlier in the summer, telling them that he’d prefer to move to Roma if he can.

That could now be on the cards, although he needs Leeds to make a decisive move for Dovbyk, which they’re yet to do.
