Defender Juanlu’s situation at Sevilla could become tense if he can’t be convinced to move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
That’s [according to Mucho Deporte](https://www.muchodeporte.com/sevilla-fc/85929/juanlu-prefiere-napoles-el-sevilla-la-premier/), who report that the tension is set to rise at Sevilla as the defender continues to hold off on moving to Wolves this summer.
The player remains determined to join Napoli, who have long convinced him with a five-year deal. But the Italian champions are yet to really make an offer to Sevilla.
Wolves are pushing though, and Sevilla are currently considering an offer that is close to the €20m that they have requested for their right-back. Bournemouth have also showed interest.
Juanlu, though, wants to move to Italy and is holding the offer from Wolves are arm’s length. Sevilla are growing frustrated as they desperately need a sale so that they can register signings and make other transfers.
They’re trying to convince Juanlu’s agents on the move to Wolves, pointing out to them that it is more than a club. It is a platform for Jorge Mendes and if he makes a name for himself in England, the super-agent will get him a move to a top club. They’d also pay the player and his team a big fee.
For now, Juanlu’s representatives haven’t been swayed but the situation could become uncomfortable for everyone if Napoli don’t start properly pushing and he holds Wolves at arm’s length.
