Since co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali took over from Roman Abramovich in May 2022, Chelsea have decided to hand out lengthy contracts to their new signings.
A number of Chelsea players are under contract until the end of the 2032/33 season, with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland the only Premier League player with a longer contract.
Chelsea have also been busy in the summer 2025 transfer window, signing Kendry Paez, Mike Penders, Dario Essugo, Mamadou Sarr, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro and Jorrel Hato.
“I’m very excited, I’m so happy to be here,” Hato said after arriving from Ajax in a deal worth £37million.
“I thought a lot about my future and wanted to take the next step in my career. Chelsea is the best place for me to do that so I’m very happy.”
While Mudryk is still under contract until 2031, he is facing a potential four-year ban after being charged by the Football Association with doping offences.
