Here's your round-up of all the latest Swansea City news for Tuesday, August 5.
McBurnie completes Hull medical
Oli McBurnie is set to be unveiled as a Hull City player after completing a medical with the Championship club.
Our colleagues at Hull Live claim the striker completed his medical in London earlier today, having already agreed terms on a three-year deal with the Tigers.
The 29-year-old is due to arrive at the MKM Stadium later today, where he will meet up with members of staff and carry out club media duties before he is officially announced as a Hull player.
McBurnie confirmed his departure from Las Palmas on Monday night by way of an emotional social media post, although his exit has been on the cards for some time following the club's relegation from La Liga.
A clause in his deal with the Spanish side meant McBurnie was able to leave for nothing this summer, a situation that alerted a number of clubs, including Swansea City.
The Swans did weigh up a possible move for the Scot, and were at one point touted as possible front-runners for his signature by reports elsewhere.
But the finances involved meant the Swans were never realistic contenders for his signature, and he is now set to make the move to Humberside, where he is expected to wear the number nine shirt.
Links with Man City starlet played down
Swansea City are unlikely to firm up interest in Manchester City youngster Max Alleyne, with the player reportedly closing in on a move to Championship rivals Watford.
The 20-year-old centre-back had been tipped as a possible loan target for Swansea by reports elsewhere, but WalesOnline understands the club's imminent capture of West Ham's Kaelan Casey means a move is now considered hugely unlikely.
The Swans have already agreed a deal with West Ham, with Casey expected to travel to south Wales in the coming days to complete a medical and other formalities.
Dundee United leading race for midfielder
Dundee United are reportedly leading the chase to sign Liverpool youngster Luca Stephenson on loan this summer.
A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the Sunderland academy product, including Swansea City and Cardiff City.
Aberdeen had been tipped to make a permanent move for the 21-year-old, but our colleagues at the Daily Record have report that while the Dons scouted the youngster, they currently have no plans to launch a bid.
They claim Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee United, where Stephenson enjoyed a successful loan spell last season, are currently leading the chase this summer.
