Leeds United remain active in the transfer market as Adam Underwood looks to supply Daniel Farke with the best possible squad ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign.
The Whites have already made seven signings, with Leeds spending £80m on the likes of Anton Stach, Lucas Perri, Jaka Bijol, Sean Longstaff, and more. That’s even after Lukas Nmecha joined on a free transfer.
But Leeds need more. Following Nmecha’s arrival, reports immediately made it clear that Leeds wanted to sign another striker. One that would start up top for Leeds ahead of the Germany striker and Joel Piroe.
That is yet to materialise. Leeds clearly want a left-winger having missed out on Igor Paixao, while cover is required at full-back with Isaac Schmidt waiting to join Werder Bremen. A no.10 could also be targeted.

Beren Cross names four players that Leeds could still sign
It is now less than a fortnight between now and the club’s Premier League opener under the lights at Elland Road, against Angus Kinnear’s Everton. But even Daniel Farke admits Leeds are far from done.
Now, Cross has reported on The Athletic’s transfer blog that Leeds could still sign four players, naming Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss first. Leeds held a meeting with El Khannouss’ camp last Wednesday.
Then, Cross names Strasbourg’s Dilane Bakwa. Leeds held talks with Strasbourg in June, but missed out on the signing of Habib Diarra with Sunderland paying more. They could reignite talks with Strasbourg.
Elsewhere, Getafe’s Christantus Uche is mentioned after the Nigeria international’s brilliant first season in La Liga. Of course, Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz remains a target after Leeds saw a £32m bid rejected.

Leeds still need cover at full-back, here are the potential options
Cross names two wingers in El Khannouss and Bakwa, as well as an attacking midfielder in Uche and a striker in Muniz. But with Leeds needing cover at full-back, who could the club potentially bring in?
Well, LeedsUnited.News understands that Leeds are seriously considering Leicester City player James Justin. The website has also been told that Lyon’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been offered to Leeds.
Reports from afar claim Leeds are in advanced talks to sign Lugano’s Italy U21 defender Mattia Zanotti, a teammate of Elland Road icon Gjanni Alioski. He played alongside Willy Gnonto for Italy this summer.
