Liverpool defender Hannah Silcock has signed a new contract with the club.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Reds this afternoon.
The 20-year-old is a product of the Liverpool academy system and is highly-regarded by the club. Silcock made her senior debut for Liverpool during the 2021/2022 season. She helped the club win the Barclays WSL2 title and promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.
The defender has continued to progress with the Merseysiders while she also spent time out on loan at Blackburn Rovers during the 2023/2024 campaign.
After signing her new deal, Silcock said “It’s really exciting. I’ve been at the club a long while, so to extend my stay is exciting.
“I think all the time you’re a player in the academy, you’re pushing to get to the first team. To get there when I was 16 and 17 and get some minutes was good. Now, I feel like I’m really part of the team and I can push that on further next season. I know that I can, I just need to keep pushing myself and hopefully get some opportunities.”
Further Liverpool squad news will be announced in due course.
