Everton have made rapid progress in their bid to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea over the last few days.
The midfielder only moved to Stamford Bridge last summer, but has already seen his development stall after being handed a lengthy contract by the West Londoners.
Dewsbury-Hall is now being handed a way out by Everton, who have already agreed a fee of around £30million for the playmaker.
The 26-year-old was excellent for his boyhood club Leicester City for a number of years, and David Moyes will be hopeful of helping to restore him to his former glory.

Moyes key as Everton to announce Dewsbury-Hall in hours
Everton are now on the verge of completing their swoop for Dewsbury-Hall, with the star undergoing a medical on Tuesday (5 August) ahead of his move to Merseyside, according to The Athletic (5 August).
It is thought that the physical checks could well continue into Wednesday (6 August), but the Toffees now appear set to announce the arrival of another new face within a matter of hours.
Moyes has made it clear that he feels that his squad still needs reinforcements over the last few days, and it now seems as though he is about to get his wish.
Ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes that the Scottish boss will have played a major role in driving the imminent deal for Dewsbury-Hall.
“Moyes has been a bit disappointed that a few more players weren’t brought in before they went to the USA,” King said.
“So, I would imagine that he’ll have been pushing for someone of Dewsbury-Hall’s quality to come in.
“When you see how much money Chelsea have spent again this summer, there’s obviously got to be players who will need to be moved on, and it looks like he’ll be one of them.
“I think Everton could be a good club for him. He started at Leicester and then never really settled in at Chelsea.
“If he can get himself to Everton and get himself back playing how he was for Leicester, then success could happen.”

Dewsbury-Hall will be a shrewd signing
Dewsbury-Hall is perhaps not the most glamorous link of Everton’s summer so far, but he could turn out to be a very sensible piece of business for them.
He was the heir to James Maddison’s throne at Leicester, and he will surely welcome the opportunity to become a central part of a squad again at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Moyes will be hopeful that if he can help the midfielder get back to the form that he displayed so often in the East Midlands, then he may have a hugely creative player on his hands.
It is not a particularly expensive deal for Everton, but it could ultimately prove to be one of their best in recent years if all goes to plan.
