Leeds United may have just dropped new Jack Harrison hint after Premier League photo shoot

The Premier League gets underway in less than a fortnight with Leeds United’s first game now just 13 days away, as The Whites welcome David Moyes’ Everton to Elland Road under the lights.

Leeds could be set to face a very different Everton on August 18, with Moyes’ men spending big so far this summer. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tyler Dibling could join Thierno Barry and others in arriving.

Daniel Farke’s men continue their preparations for the Premier League return with a final pre-season game on Saturday, in Dublin. Leeds take on AC Milan, their final outing before a first bout with Everton.

A game that includes many subplots. The first of which is Angus Kinnear making an immediate return to Elland Road following his exit. Jack Harrison could face the side he has played for over the last two years.

Leeds might have just dropped a new Jack Harrison hint…

When Max Wober and Brenden Aaronson returned after using Victor Orta’s loan clause to escape a side relegated to the Championship in 2023, playing a big role in doing so, Leeds fans criticised them heavily.

Wober has since gone, while Aaronson has had to endure more criticism than most. So when Harrison returned this summer, many expected him gone after using the clause to leave for two entire seasons.

Leeds fans booed Harrison when he started against Man United in Oslo, but boss Farke says there is an opportunity for Harrison to reintegrate himself. The feeling is that Harrison will be a part of this squad.

Now, Leeds may have dropped a new hint regarding Harrison’s future. Posting 19 images ‘behind the scenes’ images from this week’s Premier League photo shoot on their website, the 19th image is Harrison.

Jack Harrison’s contract situation at Leeds after new deal in 2023

When Harrison returned for pre-season, Leeds fans were reminded by the barbaric decision to hand the winger a five-and-a-half-year deal in the second half of the 2022-23 season, with relegation very likely.

It means that despite two years away from the club using Orta’s clause which had been included in his new contract, Harrison still has three years left to run. It leaves Leeds with a difficult decision to make.

Either, keep Harrison and give him the chance to win fans back and impress, increasing his value. Or, loan him out and risk having to contribute to his wages. A sale is unlikely given the length of his current deal.
