The vastly experienced Swede was announced as City’s new Head Coach in July.
And the fans got their first glimpse of his style of play when he took charge of an open training session at a sold-out Joie Stadium for our City Are Back event.
Jeglertz received a warm welcome from the City fans and told them about the sort of football he wants from his team.
“I think first of all, I need to start building on where we are,” he told City Are Back host Natalie Pike.

“What they have done before and how they played has been great so we need to build from that.
“I think winning the ball a little more and a little bit higher up, I think we can create more goalscoring chances.
“But we need to ensure we keep the City mentality of possession football and to add a little bit of something more.”
Asked about his first few days at the Club following a summer at the Euros with Denmark, Jeglertz is excited about what he’s seen.
“[It’s] a fantastic club, fantastic players and I’ve had a big welcome,” he said. “It’s been a fantastic first few days.
“This drive for winning is something that really attracted me and something I’m here for.
“At the same time keeping the same mentality and the things that are in the club, to continue developing that. And to do everything I can to get the maximum out of the players.”
