Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly pushing for a former Manchester United teammate to join him at Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
The former Red Devils forward signed a new deal with the Saudi giants earlier this summer and is believed to have a say over the club's recruitment. He is eager to finally win the Saudi Pro League title, having failed with his side since arriving in January 2023.
Al-Nassr are assembling a team that can help Ronaldo claim the title, including the signing of Joao Felix from Chelsea in a £43.7m deal. The Portuguese attacker will play under Jorge Jesus, who has taken over at Al-Awwal Park after guiding Al-Hilal to league glory.

It may not be too long until Ronaldo is part of a new-look frontline at Al-Nassr, especially as the club look to replace Jhon Duran. The Colombian has headed out on loan to Turkish side Fenerbahce.
According to MARCA, the legendary 40-year-old striker has advised his Saudi side to swoop for Marseille forward Mason Greenwood. It's claimed that the Englishman has the "endorsement" of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner who spent a season and a half with him at Old Trafford.
Greenwood has been in France since last summer when he joined Roberto De Zerbi's Phoceens from United in a £26.6m deal. He has managed 22 goals in 36 games at the Stade Velodrome but could be in the move this summer.

Ronaldo is thought to want the versatile attacker to "recover the space his team has lost" amid Duran's departure. The Englishman was on Al-Nassr's radar last summer but wanted to remain in Europe.
Sir Alex Had Tipped Greenwood To Be A "Top Player"
Sir Alex Ferguson shouting
Manchester United's fall from grace since Sir Alex Ferguson retired has been alarming and not even Ronaldo's return in 2021 managed to turn the tide. But there have been some players who had been tipped to help restore the club's glory days, not least Greenwood.
The pacey left-footed forward was a bright spark when breaking into the Red Devils' first team, forming a decent frontline with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial. He was viewed as one kof the most promising stars to emerge from the highly-regarded academy.
Ferguson envisioned he'd become a success at United, telling Gary Neville for SPORTbible in May 2021:
"Mason Greenwood in my opinion is going to be a top player. He's got the coolness and the coldness of a great striker. He never panics, his shots are always low, he's always inside the posts. He's shown great qualities."
Greenwood will likely never play in England again after he was arrested on charges relating to sexual assault back in January 2022, but the case was later dropped. He left on loan to Getafe in Spain after his acquittal, before permanently joining Marseille from United last summer.
Ferguson knows all about helping young players become the very best in world football. The iconic Scot played a crucial role in Ronaldo's development at Old Trafford, transforming him from a braced-faced teenage prospect into a Ballon d'Or winner.
