Arsenal U21s have received confirmation for their 2025/2026 Premier League 2 fixtures.
The young Gunners will begin their campaign with a home game against Fulham, who finished second in the regular season last term, on August 15.
They then travel to Loughborough for their first away game against Nottingham Forest on Friday, August 22.
October brings a trip to Kingsmeadow as they face Chelsea on the 25th, while they face last season’s play-off runners-up, Southampton, in the subsequent game at Staplewood Training Ground on November 7.
In January, they travel to Merseyside to face Liverpool on the 18th, sandwiched between home games against West Bromwich Albion and Burnley.
As with last season, each team faces each other once. A play-off round of 16 will take place in the second half of April, before the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final in May.
Arsenal endured a poor campaign last term, finishing eighth in the regular season before losing to eventual champions Manchester City in the play-off quarter-final.
The preparation for the new season has been far from ideal, particularly with the club’s inability to announce a substantive coach following the departure of Mehmet Ali.
However, that might soon change as former academy product Jack Wilshere is on the verge of rejoining the club as the U21s coach.
Wilshere had served as the U18s head coach before leaving for Norwich City last October.
Besides the uncertainty regarding the coaching position, the team have lost several players, including Khayon Edwards, the side’s top scorer in the league last term.
Pre-season results have also been poor, going winless in five games, although against senior opponents.
