Why Barcelona’s players are ‘frustrated’ with the club following return from Asia

The first-team squad at La Liga giants Barcelona have been left bemused with the club, owing to their travel arrangements for the journey home from Asia.

That’s according to Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel, who has on Tuesday provided an insight back into the situation.

Hansi Flick’s squad are of course fresh off seeing out the final fixture of their pre-season tour of Asia.

After putting Vissel Kobe and FC Seoul to the sword over the week prior, Barca made similarly short work of FC Daegu on Monday.

From here, the reigning Spanish champions quickly set about departing South Korea, to return to Catalunya’s capital ahead of ramping up preparations for the new campaign.

And it was during their trip home that the Blaugrana’s players were left feeling ‘frustrated’.

As per a report from the aforementioned Javier Miguel of Diario AS:

‘Long faces and exhaustion as the team returns from the Asian tour. Players are frustrated with the return trip planning, especially due to the four-hour bus ride between Daegu and Seoul airport. In total, 17 hours of grueling travel to get back home.’
