Striker has agreed terms and completed medical–Chelsea announcement coming

There has been some fresh reports in the media which have revealed that striker Armando Broja has now completed his medical at Burnley, ahead of his move from Premier League giants CHELSEA.

The 22-year-old forward has endured a difficult few years, beginning with an Achilles tendon rupture that sidelined him for a lengthy spell. Unfortunately, further misfortune followed when he sustained a significant ankle injury shortly after returning to action.

Broja has then been constantly linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge, all sorts of switches have been mentioned over the past few transfer window, but nothing has come to fruition and many fans forgot that he played for the club.

However – it was reported recently that Broja was on the verge of sealing a permanent transfer to Burnley after the Clarets reached an agreement with Chelsea.

The deal has progressed rapidly, with Broja now completing his medica. The Albania international has been cleared to travel as final preparations are made for the transfer to be completed, as claimed by Sky Sports

This is a move that needed to happen, Broja has struggled with injuries over the past few years and needs a fresh start away from Chelsea, on a permanent basis. This move to Burnley should help reignite his career and get him back to scoring goals on a regular basis.

It is a shame though that he could not fulfil his true potential, he had the ability to be a 20 goals a season striker for us but good luck to the lad, as we said, this move needed to happen
