Exclusive: How much Liverpool will accept for Darwin Nunez

Liverpool had a whirlwind start to the transfer window with the acquisitions of Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike, and Florian Wirtz.

Alexander Isak is the next target Liverpool are hoping to secure.

We exclusively revealed on DaveOCKOP.com that Liverpool have a second bid prepared for Isak.

Manchester United’s late surge for Benjamin Sesko has complicated Isak’s potential arrival. Newcastle earmarked the Slovenian international as Isak’s replacement.

We exclusively revealed that Alexander Isak is set to format request a transfer away from Newcastle United. The Swedish international has returned to Newcastle’s training ground and he has held crunch talks with Eddie Howe.

Newcastle reportedly made a late gasp effort to convince Isak to extend his deal with a reasonable 2026 exit clause. However, the 25-year-old’s mind is made up, he wants to play for the Reds.

Darwin Nunez expected to leave

Darwin Nunez is one attacking player who is set for the exit door. Nunez had an impressive pre season where he found the net a number of times. However, the Uruguayan is expected to move on.

It’s been a ‘stop-start’ career at Anfield where consistency posed the greatest challenge. Nunez never seemed to convince Arne Slot of his ability to lead the line at Anfield. At times, some attacking players were played out of position ahead of Nunez in his favoured role.

We exclusively revealed that AC Milan were expected to make a move for Nunez this week if they feel a deal can be done with Liverpool. The Italian side are battling with Saudi side Al Hilal for the 26-year-old’s sign

AC Milan will need to come up with significant funds to compete with Al Hilal. We can exclusively reveal that Liverpool would be willing to let Nunez go for around £50M. This fee isn’t an issue for Al Hilal. AC Milan are keen on a loan and buy option. A loan with an obligation to buy will be key for the Italians to convince Liverpool to do business with them.

If Nunez leaves on loan with an obligation to buy the fee could be £55M. Liverpool would prefer a straight £50M sale.

Al Hilal are reportedly continuing talks with Nunez’s representatives.

It is believed that Nunez prefers to stay in Europe as he prepares for a season heading into a World Cup year. The Uruguayan international will have to hope that a suitable European side can compete with Al Hilal’s offer.

Nunez sees this move as one last opportunity to make a major European move.
