Leicester City have rejected a bid from Valencia for Wilfried Ndidi as talks with Besiktas continue, according to reporter Ben Jacobs.
Leicester City are gearing up for another campaign in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League. LCFC are now under the guidance of Marti Cifuentes, who has taken over from Ruud van Nistelrooy.
While there is hope for new signings, financial constraints and the aftermath of relegation have shifted the club’s focus toward player departures during this summer’s transfer window. One of the most talked-about potential exits is Wilfred Ndidi, with reports suggesting that Leicester have accepted an offer from Turkish side Besiktas.

There are some more updates on his future as another side are now in the mix. According to reporter Ben Jacobs, Spanish side Valencia have had a bid rejected for Ndidi.
Valencia, managed by former West Brom and Huddersfield Town boss Carlos Corberan, are still in the hunt but as of yet have not met Leicester City’s valuation. Saudi Sides are also keen on the Nigerian.
Besiktas are still pushing to finalise a move to try and avoid any hijacks. They want Ndidi in time for their Europa Conference League qualifier against St Patrick’s Athletic.
Wilfried Ndidi is too good for the Championship, again
After Leicester City’s relegation from the Premier League last season, it was widely anticipated that several key players would leave the club. Wilfred Ndidi was among those expected to move on, having already proven he possesses the quality to compete above Championship level.

During Leicester’s last stint in the second tier, Ndidi made 32 appearances, scoring four goals and registering five assists. He was a dominant force in midfield and played a crucial role in helping the Foxes secure promotion.

With Champions League experience under his belt, Ndidi will no doubt be aiming to return to the highest level of European football with his next move. However, his future remains uncertain.

Time for some incoming Leicester City transfers?
The Foxes have so far only lost players this summer, and that does not seem like ending. Bilal El Khannouss and Mads Hermansen, like Ndidi, still look set to depart.
Despite so many departures, there has only been one new signing at the King Power. Former Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has joined the club on a free transfer.
LCFC need to start making moves in the market if they wish to be in the fight for promotion this summer. Cifuentes is going to have a massive job on his hands if the club do not act quickly.
