Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho joining Chelsea this summer is starting to become increasingly likely.
United have some business to do before they sell the 21-year-old, but Chelsea will be there once they are ready to.
Garnacho is not the only attacker the Blues could sign between now and the end of the transfer window.
They are also interested in RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons, who recently saw his Netherlands teammate Jorrel Hato move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea set for more discussions with Alejandro Garnacho‘s entourage this week
Garnacho has been linked with Besiktas and their Turkish rivals Fenerbahce, who are currently managed by Jose Mourinho, but Chelsea appear to be the frontrunners for his signature.
According to journalist Uriel Lugt, the Club World Cup winners have held talks with Garnacho’s entourage and the two parties will meet again this week for more discussions.

Chelsea’s interest in Garnacho is likely to push Tyrique George out of Stamford Bridge. It is thought that George wants to leave the club, fearing his game time will be reduced next season.

The Conference League holders have already brought in Jamie Gittens during this transfer window. If they go on to sign Garnacho, George would become the third-choice left winger.
The 19-year-old made 26 appearances for the first team last season, scoring three goals along the way.

Chelsea fans compare Alejandro Garnacho and Tyrique George
Both being left wingers, understandably, Chelsea supporters on social media have been comparing Garnacho and George.
For many, Garnacho is a better player than George, but that is to be expected. The Argentina international is older than his Chelsea counterpart and has been playing in the Premier League for longer.

Tyrique George 26 3
George has a lot of talent, though. Instead of spending money on Garnacho, Chelsea could always keep hold of their academy product and develop that talent.
However, Garnacho is a market opportunity that Chelsea clearly feel they cannot turn down, which is bad news for George and all those who wanted to see him make it at the club.
