With interest in Rodrigo Muniz seemingly going nowhere, Leeds United remain in the market for a new striker and may have to start looking at other options in the final few weeks of the window.
Leeds have tabled a £32m bid for Muniz, but it was rejected back in June. The Brazilian striker remains Leeds’ priority up front, but Newcastle have since opened talks and Atalanta are very keen on Muniz.
Fulham want to keep the striker but with Champions League clubs interested, it looks as if he will be on his way. Leeds are left in the lurch as Adam Underwood fights to secure some signings in the final third.
Of course, Leeds have been linked with many strikers this summer. Roma’s Artem Dovbyk, Everton man Beto and Lecce’s Montenegro ace Nikola Krstovic are targets – but another has become readily available.

Anderlecht make decision on 24-goal striker with Leeds interested
Last season, Kasper Dolberg reminded all why he was touted to be the next big thing in Europe, with an impressive 24-goal season with Anderlecht. Jurgen Klopp once predicted a massive future for Dolberg.
Leeds have been touted with a move for Dolberg this summer, but links dried up soon after the initial links. This season already, Dolberg has scored two goals in two games, netting in the Conference League.

Now, Sacha Tavoleri delivers an update. The Belgian reporter took to X to tell supporters that Anderlecht are willing to cash in on the striker, and he is expected to go. Reports say Anderlecht want a £12.6m fee.
“RSC Anderlecht recently turned down an offer (not from Beşiktaş). This offer, Dolberg wasn’t particularly interested in. If the striker wants to join a new team, RSCA would be open. A departure is still likely.”

Who should Leeds sign – Kasper Dolberg, or Rodrigo Muniz?
At £40m, Muniz is obviously going to cost a whole lot more than Dolberg. With the Brazilian proven in the Premier League and three years younger than Dolberg at 24, it is hardly a surprise he may cost £40m.
But Dolberg is a bargain at £12.6m. Adam Underwood has been keen to bring in physicality and aerial prowess this summer and that’s not really Dolberg’s game, but at his price, he would be an absolute steal.

With just 12 days left to go until Leeds welcome Everton at Elland Road on August 18, fans are growing increasingly concerned about the club’s lack of signings in the final third. Something needs to give.
