Joao Pedro sends message to new teammate Estevao Willian which Chelsea fans will absolutely love

The long-awaited announcement of Estevao Willian has finally arrived for Chelsea fans, and he is now just days away from making his potential first appearance for the club.

Estevao had been spotted in a Chelsea training kit prior to his reveal as a new signing, and he has now completed his first training session alongside his new teammates.

It looks as if he has made an instant impact at his new club. Estevao was on the winning team alongside the likes of Reece James and Marc Cucurella in his first session.

The majority of the first team squad got an impression of his abilities during the recent Club World Cup. He scored a fine goal against the Blues in the quarter-finals of the competition, impressing Enzo Maresca in the process.

Joao Pedro sends brilliant welcome message to new Chelsea star Estevao Willian

Joao Pedro was also on the winning side in training, and is currently on a high after the excellent impact he made during the summer competition. He scored three goals in his two starts after joining the Blues.

His fellow Brazilian has been quick to take to social media to welcome the youngster to his new club after featuring alongside him in training.

He took to Instagram to post a story saying: “Welcome Estevao, to the World Champions”, an honour Chelsea fans will be able to shout about for the next four years.

Despite the obvious impact the competition is going to have on their start to the 2025/26 season, the Blues announced themselves as a serious threat to Europe’s elite with their showing, particularly in the final against PSG.

Estevao’s chances of facing Crystal Palace

Chelsea will get their new Premier League season underway with a home game against Crystal Palace. They have just two pre-season friendlies to prepare themselves for the occasion.

While Estevao will be hoping to get his chance to make an impact against either Bayer Leverkusen or AC Milan, the chances of him starting against the FA Cup winners are very slim.

This is because Maresca wants to ease Estevao in after the high-profile move for the teenager, despite how much faith the Blues have in his abilities.

Cup competitions are the most likely opportunities for him to feature early on, however it surely won’t be long before he gives the manager a tough decision to make when it comes to the right-hand-side of attack.
