George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers tight end, has the biggest cheerleader in his wife, Claire Kittle. The tight-end’s Madden 26 rankings were shared recently, where he scored an overall 98 rating. While this is pretty great for George Kittle and immediately crowns him as the highest-rated tight end in the league, the number was definitely too small for his wife.

Kittle’s Madden 26 ratings are definitely stunningly great, especially since other high-profile tight ends in the league, like Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce, only scored a measly 93 overall rating. Kittle’s 98 rating list also includes Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry.

George Kittle has proved himself to be among the cream of the crop when it comes to tight ends in the league, even going on to score a massive contract extension with the 49ers. The deal makes him the highest paid tight end in the history of the National Football League.

While the San Francisco 49ers are definitely blessed to have an impressive tight end in George Kittle, the team has to do plenty of homework on other ends. The team will soon start off their 2025 NFL campaign by facing the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1.
George Kittle ‘Distraught’ Over League Banning Smelling Salts
In other news, George Kittle is one of many players who expressed disappointment over the NFL’s latest ban on smelling salts. Ammonia salts are often inhaled by players for a little burst of energy, even if this has not been exactly proven by science. The main reason for the NFL banning ‘ammonia’ is that their Head, Neck and Spine Committee felt that the salts could be an obstacle for on-field diagnoses of injuries.
“I’ve been distraught all day. I considered retirement. We’ve got to figure out a middle ground here, guys. Somebody help me out, somebody come up with a good idea…I miss those already.”George Kittle said recently in an interview with Fred Warner on the NFL Network.

It is definitely not known if smelling ammonia salts before a game helps players like George Kittle improve their performance. However, it is more likely that the act of inhaling the said salts may be a mental crutch that players lean on to boost their alertness and their focus before a big play.
