Rangers have moved into the picture to sign Karl Hein from Arsenal, with the Gunners open to the goalkeeper leaving this summer.
This time that exit may well be on a permanent basis, given the 23-year-old now has less than a year left on his contract at the London club. Some reports have stated Arsenal have an option to extend that contract by a further year.
Dominik Schneider reports Russell Martin’s Rangers have moved into the picture for the young Arsenal stopper, and now join a race with Sevilla.
Earlier this summer, we covered claims from Spain regarding Sevilla interest, with the La Liga side looking for a squad player. Those Sevilla claims came in mid July, and there’s been no advance since, so that may not be such big competition for Rangers.
Schneider doesn’t offer anything more on Rangers or where their interest stands right now, just that the Scottish Premiership club are now in the race to sign the Arsenal player.
