**JACKSONVILLE –** The Prowlers are back, times four.
They're back with a divisional flair – and a flair for big matchups, too – with the Jaguars on Wednesday announcing that they will play four home games during the 2025 season wearing their popular, iconic "[Prowler Throwbacks](https://www.jaguars.com/throwback-uniforms)."
The Jaguars in 2025 will play all three AFC South rivals – the Houston Texans, the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans – while wearing the Prowlers and they also will wear them against the three-time defending AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs.
**Those are four series with historic significance for the Jaguars, and what follows is a look at those series:**
* **[Houston Texans (September 21, 1 p.m.)](https://www.jaguars.com/game-day/2025/reg-week3/texans-at-jaguars/)** This rivalry dates to 2002, when the expansion Texans and Jaguars both joined the newly formed AFC South – and while the Texans often have had the advantage in the series, the Jaguars have their share of memorable moments. The Texans, who lead the series 31-15, won nine consecutive games in the series from 2018-2022 and 20 of 24 from 2011-2022. Highlight moments for the Jaguars against the Texans include a 31-24 victory in 2010 in which quarterback David Garrard completed a 50-yard Hail Mary pass to wide receiver Mike Thomas on the game's last play. Also notable: A series sweep for the Jaguars in 2017 that was key to their AFC South title that season, with the Jaguars setting a franchise record with 10 sacks in a 29-7 victory in Houston in the regular-season opener and a 45-7 December victory in Jacksonville that marked their largest margin of victory that season.
